ABOUT THIS PRODUCT The Soft Transfer Belt is a standing and walking belt with an adjustable webbing strap. It is padded and the soft Velour material is comfortable for the person wearing it, and the handles are comfortable and easy to grip for the carer/s. It comes in either a blue or black color option. WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT? This product is used to help frail people stand and walk. Depending on the person, one or two carers can support the person while standing and walking by holding onto the handles. The people using this belt may be being cared for at home, or in assisted living, aged care nursing home, skilled nursing facility, or hospital. HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT Place the belt around the person and attached the buckle. Tighten the buckle, so that it is comfortable, either around the waist or under the arms. With correct training, the carers can then use the belt to help someone stand up and walk.
