ABOUT THIS PRODUCT The Bed Back Rest Straps make it easier to raise and lower a patient lying in an adjustable hospital bed. They help avoid the fingers being used to hold the small thin wire handle on a hospital bed. WHO SHOULD USE THIS PRODUCT? Suitable for carers to use their body weight to raise a back rest. HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT The two short gold straps are lassoed to the handles on each side of the bed base. Two carers hold the most suitable loops, depending on their height and position. The long red strap with the non slip material is lassoed onto the horizontal bar. When the back rest is at the correct height, the bar can then be lowered into the appropriate ratchet. When lowering, carers take the weight of the back rest and one carer pulls the ‘horizontal bar strap’ out of the ratchet while lowering the back rest down again. PRODUCT MATERIALS Nylon webbing.
