The Pelican Hip Protector Pants come in either a female or male style, and a variety of sizes. Pants are made from a stretchy, moisture-wicking Micromesh material. As well as a shape difference, the male style has a fly in them. We use soft foam pads to offer excellent impact absorption. The pads fit into pockets in the sides of the Pants. Features of the Pelican Hip Protector Pads: Soft, flexible, impact-resistant foam, which becomes more supple when it warms up after being next to the skin 0.5cm / 0.2” soft breathable foam holds the sealed internal impact-absorbing green foam away from the skin to allow for good air circulation Good-sized pads to offer good coverage of the greater trochanter (hip bone) The Hip Protector Pad options are: SuperSoft Washable Pads (179SSW): Our most popular pad, which is fully washable SuperSoft Washable Pads T5 (179SSWT5): A heavy-duty option that is thicker than the SuperSoft Washable pads The Foam pads can be sewn in place in the pockets of the pants.
