Grown by Twin Oaks Seed Farm (VA) – Cucumis melo – 80 days In development by Edmund Frost at Twin Oaks Seed Farm. We’re going for everything here: sweetness, flavor, deep orange color, small seed cavity, good keeping quality, even netting, and plants that can withstand both downy mildew and bacterial wilt. This F6 selection does well on all these points. Fruits are round and average about 2.5 pounds. Interior texture is smooth and medium-firm. We called this a research sample last year but it’s now further along than that – we expect to name and release it as a proper variety in the fall of 2026 – we’d love your feedback in the meantime. 34 seeds/gram.
