HS4 10 metre (28 Mhz) Amateur Radio Transceiver

DescriptionThe HS4 is a channelised amateur radio transceiver covering the entire 10 metre amateur (28-29.7 Mhz) allocation, in 325 channels.  The transceiver utilises an LCD display to indicate channel, operating frequency, mode, SWR and the operational status of 12 additional controls. The clarifier function allows tuning to any frequency between programmed channels in 10Hz steps. The transceiver supports AM,CW,USB, LSB and FM transmission modes and is a most economical entry point into the world of Amateur Radio. The transceiver requires 12V DC and hence can be configured as either a mobile or home base station. The 10 meter band can allow radio contacts over thousands of kilometres using simple antennas (see our Q5009 base station antenna), when conditions are good.Repeater offsets, CTCSS capability, adjustable microphone gain, RF gain and RF power controls, Noise Blanker and Automatic Noise Limiter, Dual Watch, Scan and SWR indicator are also part of the powerful features of this transceiver.
